Lil' Shopper's Shoppe

The holidays are near, and as a special service, our school is hosting a Lil' Shopper's Shoppe. Children will have the opportunity to pick out their own inexpensive, high-quality gifts for family and friends. The Lil' Shopper's Shoppe is a program designed to allow children to shop independently at their school - in a safe and familiar environment. They can learn valuable skills such as planning, budgeting, and decision-making, while experiencing the joy of giving. The Lil' Shopper's Shoppe will be set up in the school and run by parent and grandparent volunteers. There are gifts available for all members of your family: mom, dad, brothers, sisters, grandmas, grandpas, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, teachers, and even pets! Gifts are priced from approximately $0.25 to $15.00, with most between $3.00 to $8.00.

Students will have the opportunity to shop December 10-12 during their specials time. Families are invited to come shop on December 12th from 5-7:30 in the media center. There will be free hot chocolate, cookies, face painting, photo areas, crafts and SNOW! We hope to see you all there.
